Summary of Changes
Flawless Maneuver – Removed from Watchlist
Broadside Bombardiers – Remains on Watchlist
Nadu, Winged Wisdom – Remains on Watchlist
Ketramose, the New Dawn – Added to Watchlist
Flawless Maneuver – Removed from Watchlist
After completing two evaluation cycles, we’ve decided to remove Flawless Maneuver from the Watchlist.
While it had a strong showing at February’s NorCal tournament, appearing in 1st, 4th, 7th, and 8th place decks
out of 27 players, its presence dropped significantly in March’s NorCal event (30 players), where it showed up
in just one Top 8 deck (5th place). The card’s impact in the online meta has also diminished.
We believe the metagame has adapted. Flawless Maneuver remains powerful, but it no longer warps games or
stifles interaction. Right now, it doesn’t meet the dominance or format-altering criteria to stay on the Watchlist.
Broadside Bombardiers – Remains on Watchlist
Broadside Bombardiers continues to achieve strong results, consistently appearing in competitive decks. It
contributed to a 1st-place finish at a 30-player NorCal event and featured prominently in undefeated runs
during February and March’s Little League tournaments.
While the card’s inclusion in these successful decks highlights its potential, it hasn’t yet seen widespread
adoption across the metagame. For now, we’ll keep it on the Watchlist, closely monitoring its performance and
presence.
Nadu, Winged Wisdom – Remains on Watchlist
Nadu continues to make an impact, contributing to strong finishes in competitive play. It appeared in two
1st-place decks at NorCal events (27 and 30 players) and enabled a 5-2 record in March’s Weekend Tiny
Brawl.
While some players find Nadu frustrating to play against, we haven’t seen sustained dominance, oppressive
mechanics, or extreme format shifts. We’ll keep an eye on Nadu in the next review cycle but don’t see a need to
escalate its status right now.
Ketramose, the New Dawn – Added to Watchlist
Ketramose has been consistently performing well in both NorCal and online events. Notable results include:
3rd and 6th place finishes in February’s 27-player NorCal tournament
3rd, 4th, and 7th place finishes in March’s 30-player NorCal tournament
A 3rd-place, 4-1 finish in a Weekend Tiny Brawl
These performances highlight Ketramose’s steady strength across diverse settings. While it hasn’t dominated
in win rates or overall meta share yet, we’re adding it to the Watchlist to acknowledge its growing presence in
competitive play.
Final Thoughts
As always, we base our decisions on principles that prioritize competitive balance, format identity, and
community feedback. Although no cards are being banned this time, these Watchlist updates reflect our
ongoing efforts to foster a healthy and dynamic metagame.
We’re grateful for the community’s input and support. Please keep sharing event results, feedback, and
decklists as we move into the next evaluation phase.
