Mystical tutor is a "search into your library for a spell" with more or less no really restriction on what it can find in one of the best color of magic the ...

Ban List Update

Deflecting swat is banned Fierce guardianship is banned Mox amber is banned Mox opal is banned Lion's eye diamond is banned Maddening hex is banned Court of cunning is banned Deflecting swat/Fierce guardianship The use of these free cards, allowing very simple protection of the general or the game plan, proved too oppressive for the format. These two cards were found to be integrated into almost all the decks playing these two colors, offering a determining free effect, under a condition extremely easy to obtain in this format. The existence of these cards only reinforced the power of combo decks like Emry, Lurker of the Loch. Mox amber, Mox opal et Lion's eye diamond On 02/26/2018, we had banned diamond and chrome moxes, believing that fast and free mana were harmful to the format. Since then, mox amber has been edited, fitting into a large majority of decks and making, among other things, any 1 mana general virtually free. Additionally, as new stra...

TLR Ban list and Rules update

Since the 22 January 2019, no Tiny Leaders Reborn ban list and rules update announcements were made, and we apologize for it. We want to reassure you on the return of Tiny Leaders Reborn, stronger than ever, and we have big announcements for you. BAN LIST update Jeweled Lotus is banned Tasha’s Hideous Laughter is banned Thassa’s Oracle is banned Ashiok, Dream Render is banned as commander only Uro, Titan of Nature’s Wrath is banned as commander only Wren & Six is banned as commander only Oko, Thief of Crown is banned as commander and as a card Black Vise is unbanned Jeweled Lotus We had, a few months before our short break, banned diamond and chrome moxes due to the speed advantage they offered, especially in oppressive strategies. The advantage offered by the lotus is all the more important and allows without card disadvantage to throw most of the general from the first turn of the game, thus gaining a substantial advantage over any opponent. We found this advantage to be far too ...

TLR Rules Update

Any planeswalker of CCM 3 or less can be used as a commander   Regarding the format itself and your feedback, it is clear that the metagame is healthy. Admittedly, there are some obvious "deck to beat" (Leovold loam, Marath, Geist of St Traft ...) but nothing too oppressive and diversity is present. As such, no ban or unban will take place today. However, after lot of testings, and to further deepen this diversity (and meet the expectations of many gaming groups already using this rule) we are modifying a rule in Tiny Leaders Reborn. From today, and officially in tournament, you will be able to apply it: "Any planeswalker of CCM 3 or less can be used as a commander" We are aware that some of them can be very strong and oppressive for the format, and we will keep our attention on them.

Ban List Update : Dominaria

Mox Diamond is banned Chrome Mox is banned Sword of Body and Mind is unbanned Mox Diamond and Chrome Mox As for the duel commander, the balance of the Moxes relies on the sacrifice of active ressource at games starts. However, the commander is a redundant resource available all game long, and in the Tiny Leaders 1 or 2 lands + mox means most of the time that you will be able to play your commander as early as turn 2. Most commanders will make a direct impact on games such as giving you immediate new ressources as remplacement, or needing more than 1 card to handle with. These decks are able to make profitable the moxes even in mid games where they recycle them for card advantage (ex : liliana of the veil +1 ability, jace vryn’s prodige, brainstorm shuffling...) The combination of the characteristics of these 2 moxes (not requiring strict building like Opal or Amber) along Tiny explosiveness and commander repeatable ressource creates an undesireble variance. For creating an imbalanc...

Ban List Update : Rivals of Ixalan

Goblin Recruiter is unbanned True Name Nemesis is banned  Gaea's Craddle is banned  Four (or more) colors decks are legal Goblin Recruiter A card that was banned from the beginning by the creators without, however in a format to CCM3, become a particular threat. It ensures on your next turns a way to assure “a good sequence", but will very rarely leave place for a real combo. Wishing to encourage these marginal decks to make the format accessible to the greatest number, we remove from the banned list this map. True Name Nemesis Card that does not win by itself, or slowly enough compared how fast is the format, but that strongly prevents losing the games in which you get to put it in play. Its resilient nature added to its blue color, make it a card very difficult (nearly impossible) to manage for some colors. Green, Red and Blue can hardly handle it once in play. White and Artifact will do it either with difficulty (need to attack Wing Shards, Blessed alliance...) or in many...
